It's here! We're excited to announce that we released a new Statusboard with the new Basecamp integration today.
We've rebuilt Statusboard from scratch and made it faster and more reliable. Our biggest goals in rebuilding Statusboard where to make it work with the new Basecamp API and to make it ready for future updates and developments.
All you have to do to update your Statusboard account is to login on http://statusboard.me/settings and authenticate the services you want to use. It is now possible to use the Classic or New Basecamp: you can choose which one you want to use.
A few important notes:
Team members:
All team members from all companies are now available in your Statusboard. So now you can see people from different companies collaborating on projects in your Statusboard. We arranged all team members by email-address so all people from your organization are grouped.
Progress bar:
In the first version of Statusboard we created the progress bar based on milestones. In the new Basecamp there are no milestones so we decided to create the progress bar based on the to-do's. This way you can see what the actual status of a project is based on the amount of active and completed to-do's. Next to the progress bar you see the deadline of that project, this is created from the last Calendar event available in that project.
Tip: You can exclude to-do lists or to-do's from the progress bar when you put a * before the text.
We've been testing and everything should work like a charm. The one thing we couldn't save are the birthdays, we're sorry for that! Should you have any problems, don't hesitate to contact us: support@statusboard.me
We hope you like it!
The Statusboard team.
